### sec.448 Regulation-making power The Governor in Council may make regulations under this Act. A regulation may be made about the following matters— fees, other than titles registry fees, payable under this Act; how fees, other than titles registry fees, are to be paid and may be recovered, including the provision of credit facilities to persons approved by the chief executive; additional information to be supplied with a form approved by the chief executive or a non-registry document; transitional arrangements if a new form is approved by the chief executive; the execution of non-registry documents; anything else about a form approved by the chief executive or a non-registry document; the payment and collection of rent and instalments under this Act; the closure of roads; the building and maintenance of roads under chapter 3 , part 2 , division 5 . A regulation may require the following to be lodged or deposited using an Electronic Lodgment Network— documents of a stated class; documents lodged or deposited by a person of a stated class. Schedule 1B provides for matters that may be included in a regulation under subsection (2) (g) . Subsection (4) does not limit subsection (2) (g) . A regulation may create offences and prescribe penalties of not more than 100 penalty units for the offences. In this section— Electronic Lodgment Network has the meaning given by the Electronic Conveyancing National Law (Queensland) , section 13 . non-registry document means a document that is prepared other than for depositing or lodging in the land registry. s 448 amd 2001 No. 71 s 551 sch 1 ; 2004 No. 4 s 57 sch ; 2013 No. 23 s 352 sch 1 pt 1 ; 2014 No. 29 s 90 ; 2019 No. 7 s 217 ; 2021 No. 12 s 93 (sec.448-ssec.1) The Governor in Council may make regulations under this Act.
