### sec.431O Definitions
In this part—
declared beach area means an area of a lot declared by regulation to be a declared beach area.
foreshore means land between the high-water mark and low-water mark.
lot includes a lot under the Land Title Act 1994 .
manager , of a declared beach area, means the State or a local government, as provided for in this part.
owner , of a lot, means—
if the lot is land granted in trust under this Act—the trustee of the lot; or
if the lot is non-freehold land under this Act—the lessee or licensee of the lot; or
if the lot is a lot under the Land Title Act 1994 —the registered owner of the lot.
public use includes public enjoyment.

seashore means—
any land that is foreshore; and
any land that is—
above the high-water mark; and
ordinarily covered only by sand or shingle; and
any land that is below the low-water mark.

- (a) if the lot is land granted in trust under this Act—the trustee of the lot; or
- (b) if the lot is non-freehold land under this Act—the lessee or licensee of the lot; or
- (c) if the lot is a lot under the Land Title Act 1994 —the registered owner of the lot.
