### sec.403O Authorised officer must make record of direction
This section applies if an authorised officer—
gives a direction under section 403N orally; or
gives a direction under section 403N in writing, but does not have a copy of the direction.
The authorised officer must, as soon as reasonably practicable after the direction is given, make a written record of—
the name of the person to whom the direction was given; and
details of the direction; and
the day and time the direction was given.

(sec.403O-ssec.1) This section applies if an authorised officer— gives a direction under section 403N orally; or gives a direction under section 403N in writing, but does not have a copy of the direction.
(sec.403O-ssec.2) The authorised officer must, as soon as reasonably practicable after the direction is given, make a written record of— the name of the person to whom the direction was given; and details of the direction; and the day and time the direction was given.
- (a) gives a direction under section 403N orally; or
- (b) gives a direction under section 403N in writing, but does not have a copy of the direction.
