### sec.389C Requirements of caveats A caveat in relation to a lease or licence must be signed by or for the caveator. The caveat must state— the name of the caveator; and an address where documents can be served on the caveator; and unless the registrar of titles dispenses with it, the name and address of— the lessee or licensee affected by the caveat; and each other person whose interest or whose right to registration of a document is affected by the caveat; and the registered interest affected by the caveat; and the interest claimed by the caveator; and the grounds on which the interest is claimed. Without limiting subsection (2) (b) , the address stated may be the address of a stated legal practitioner.
