### sec.387 Effect of registering a writ of execution
For buyers, sublessees, mortgagees and creditors, until a writ of execution is registered—
it does not bind or affect a lease, whether or not there is actual or constructive notice of the writ; and
binds or affects a lease only if the writ is executed and put in force within—
6 months of its lodgement; or
the extended time allowed by the court where the writ is filed and notified to the registrar of titles.

- (a) it does not bind or affect a lease, whether or not there is actual or constructive notice of the writ; and
- (b) binds or affects a lease only if the writ is executed and put in force within— (i) 6 months of its lodgement; or (ii) the extended time allowed by the court where the writ is filed and notified to the registrar of titles.
