### sec.373ZC Mandatory terms for approved agreements
The Minister may fix the terms (the mandatory terms ) to be included in indigenous access and use agreements, or indigenous land use agreements, proposed to be approved agreements for indigenous cultural interests.
However, the mandatory terms can not be inconsistent with—
for indigenous access and use agreements—the requirements stated in schedule 3 , part 1 , items 1 to 7; or
for indigenous land use agreements—the requirements stated in schedule 3 , part 2 , items 1 to 7.
The Minister may fix the format (the set format ) to be complied with for indigenous access and use agreements, or indigenous land use agreements, proposed to be approved agreements for indigenous cultural interests.
The Minister may fix the mandatory terms and the set format by reference to 1 or more templates for indigenous access and use agreements and indigenous land use agreements.
A decision of the Minister under subsection (1) or (3) takes effect on the day notice of the decision is published in the gazette.
The department must publish the mandatory terms on its website.
