### sec.339O Appointment of arbitrator
The parties to the dispute may jointly appoint a single arbitrator to decide the dispute.
If the parties to the dispute agree to submit the dispute to arbitration, but are unable to agree on the joint appointment of an arbitrator, a party to the dispute may request a prescribed dispute resolution entity to appoint a single arbitrator to decide the dispute.
If a request is made to a prescribed dispute resolution entity under subsection (2) , the prescribed dispute resolution entity must appoint an appropriately qualified arbitrator to decide the dispute.

(sec.339O-ssec.1) The parties to the dispute may jointly appoint a single arbitrator to decide the dispute.
