### sec.26C Effect of resumption of forest entitlement area If a forest entitlement area is resumed under section 24 , the reservation is discharged and compensation is payable only for— improvements existing on the forest entitlement area before the reservation was made; and if building of improvements on the forest entitlement area were authorised by the chief executive and the authorisation has not specifically excluded the payment of compensation—the improvements authorised. s 26C (prev s 176) amd 1995 No. 57 s 4 sch 1 reloc and renum 2007 No. 19 s 86 amd 2019 No. 17 s 105 - (a) improvements existing on the forest entitlement area before the reservation was made; and - (b) if building of improvements on the forest entitlement area were authorised by the chief executive and the authorisation has not specifically excluded the payment of compensation—the improvements authorised.
