### sec.235 Notice of forfeiture for outstanding amounts
Before a lease is forfeited because of non-payment of an amount payable to the State under this Act for the lease, the Minister must give the lessee, any mortgagee and any relevant local government at least 28 days notice of the Minister’s intention to forfeit the lease.
The notice must state the amount outstanding and the amount of any interest accruing each day.
