### sec.214J Failure to comply with compliance notice
A person to whom a compliance notice is given under this division must comply with the notice unless the person has a reasonable excuse.
Maximum penalty—400 penalty units.
If a person is convicted of an offence against subsection (1) , the court may, as well as imposing a penalty for the offence, make—
an order (a compliance order ) that the person comply with all or part of the compliance notice within a stated period; and
any other orders the court considers appropriate.
Without limiting subsection (2) (b) , if the compliance notice requires the person to remove a thing from the land to which the person’s permit relates, the court may order that the thing be forfeited to the State if the person fails to remove the thing within the period stated in the compliance order.
