### sec.156C Noncompliance with improvements notice
This section applies if a person to whom an improvements notice is given fails to comply with the notice.
The State may—
take the action required under the improvements notice; and
recover from the person the reasonable costs of taking the action as a debt due to the State.
For subsection (2) (b) , the costs of removing a building or other structure include costs reasonably incurred in disposing of the building or structure or part of it.

(sec.156C-ssec.1) This section applies if a person to whom an improvements notice is given fails to comply with the notice.
(sec.156C-ssec.2) The State may— take the action required under the improvements notice; and recover from the person the reasonable costs of taking the action as a debt due to the State.
