### sec.24 Court to order unsuccessful defendant to pay filing fees if State-related complainant
This section applies if, before the commencement of this section—
a document was filed, without payment of a fee, under section 19A(1) of the repealed regulation; and
no order has been made, under section 19A(2) of the repealed regulation, against the defendant in relation to the filing fee for the document.
Section 19(2) of the repealed regulation continues to apply in relation to the defendant as if it were still in force.
In this section—
repealed regulation means the Justices Regulation 2004 .
(sec.24-ssec.1) This section applies if, before the commencement of this section— a document was filed, without payment of a fee, under section 19A(1) of the repealed regulation; and no order has been made, under section 19A(2) of the repealed regulation, against the defendant in relation to the filing fee for the document.
(sec.24-ssec.2) Section 19(2) of the repealed regulation continues to apply in relation to the defendant as if it were still in force.
(sec.24-ssec.3) In this section— repealed regulation means the Justices Regulation 2004 .
- (a) a document was filed, without payment of a fee, under section 19A(1) of the repealed regulation; and
- (b) no order has been made, under section 19A(2) of the repealed regulation, against the defendant in relation to the filing fee for the document.
