### sec.23EA Additional powers of court or justices
This section is in addition to, and does not limit, any other provision of this Act.
A court or justices have the following additional powers—
power to give any direction the court or justices consider appropriate;
power to direct a party to file and serve stated documents, including affidavits, within a stated time;
power to make orders to which all the parties to a matter consent.
When exercising the power under subsection (2) (c) , the parties to the matter need not be present.

(sec.23EA-ssec.1) This section is in addition to, and does not limit, any other provision of this Act.
(sec.23EA-ssec.2) A court or justices have the following additional powers— power to give any direction the court or justices consider appropriate; power to direct a party to file and serve stated documents, including affidavits, within a stated time; power to make orders to which all the parties to a matter consent.
