### sec.228A Discontinuance of appeal
An appellant may discontinue an appeal before it is heard by filing a notice in the approved form with the relevant registrar.
If, under the appealed order, the appellant is liable to serve a term of imprisonment and was released from custody pending the appeal, the registrar must issue a warrant to arrest the appellant and commit the appellant to prison to serve the term of imprisonment.
In this section—
term of imprisonment includes the unexpired portion of a term of imprisonment.

(sec.228A-ssec.1) An appellant may discontinue an appeal before it is heard by filing a notice in the approved form with the relevant registrar.
(sec.228A-ssec.2) If, under the appealed order, the appellant is liable to serve a term of imprisonment and was released from custody pending the appeal, the registrar must issue a warrant to arrest the appellant and commit the appellant to prison to serve the term of imprisonment.
