### sec.147 Justices may proceed to hearing in absence of both or either of the parties If at the time or place to which a hearing or further hearing is adjourned, either or both of the parties does not or do not appear personally or by a lawyer, the justices then present may proceed to such hearing or further hearing as if such party or parties were present, or if the complainant does not appear the justices may dismiss the complaint with or without costs. s 147 amd 2004 No. 11 s 596 sch 1
