### sec.48 Advertising listening devices prohibited
A person who—
publishes or causes to be published by radio or television or in any newspaper or other publication an advertisement relating to any listening device of a prescribed class or description; or
in any other way advertises or publicly exhibits any such listening device with the intention or apparent intention of promoting its sale or use;
is guilty of an offence.
Maximum penalty—20 penalty units or imprisonment for 1 year.
