65 Power to make subordinate legislation
(1) If an Act authorises or requires the making of subordinate
legislation under the Act, the power enables subordinate legislation
to be made with respect to any matter that:
(a) is required or permitted to be prescribed by the Act; or
(b) is necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or
giving effect to the Act.
(2) Subsection (1) applies even though the Act also authorises the
making of subordinate legislation for a particular purpose.
(3) Power conferred by the Act to make subordinate legislation for a
particular purpose is in addition to, and does not limit the effect of,
power conferred by the Act to make subordinate legislation under
the Act unless the Act expressly provides otherwise.
