### sec.166A Requirements for privacy complaint to relevant entity A privacy complaint made to a relevant entity by an individual must— be in writing; and state an address to which the entity may respond to the complaint; and give particulars of the act or practice the subject of the complaint; and be made within 12 months after the complainant becomes aware of the act or practice the subject of the complaint, or a longer period agreed by the relevant entity. The relevant entity may agree to a longer period under subsection (1) (d) if the relevant entity is satisfied the extension is reasonable in the circumstances.
