### sec.136 Decision-making functions
The functions of the information commissioner include—
waiving or modifying—
an obligation of a relevant entity to comply with the privacy principle requirements; or
an obligation of an agency to comply with chapter 3A , part 2 or 3 or section 72 or 73 ; and
issuing compliance notices under part 6 ; and
dealing with privacy complaints under chapter 5 .

- (a) waiving or modifying— (i) an obligation of a relevant entity to comply with the privacy principle requirements; or (ii) an obligation of an agency to comply with chapter 3A , part 2 or 3 or section 72 or 73 ; and
- (i) an obligation of a relevant entity to comply with the privacy principle requirements; or
- (ii) an obligation of an agency to comply with chapter 3A , part 2 or 3 or section 72 or 73 ; and
- (b) issuing compliance notices under part 6 ; and
- (c) dealing with privacy complaints under chapter 5 .
- (i) an obligation of a relevant entity to comply with the privacy principle requirements; or
- (ii) an obligation of an agency to comply with chapter 3A , part 2 or 3 or section 72 or 73 ; and
