### sec.92 Replacement employees
The employer must, before a replacement employee starts employment, give the replacement employee a written notice informing the replacement employee of—
the temporary nature of the employment; and
the parent’s right to return to work.
In this section—
replacement employee means—
a person who is specifically employed because an employee (the parent )—
starts parental leave; or
is transferred to a safe job under section 89 ; or
a person replacing an employee who is temporarily promoted or transferred to replace the parent.
(sec.92-ssec.1) The employer must, before a replacement employee starts employment, give the replacement employee a written notice informing the replacement employee of— the temporary nature of the employment; and the parent’s right to return to work.
(sec.92-ssec.2) In this section— replacement employee means— a person who is specifically employed because an employee (the parent )— starts parental leave; or is transferred to a safe job under section 89 ; or a person replacing an employee who is temporarily promoted or transferred to replace the parent.
- (a) the temporary nature of the employment; and
- (b) the parent’s right to return to work.

- (i) starts parental leave; or
- (ii) is transferred to a safe job under section 89 ; or
- (b) a person replacing an employee who is temporarily promoted or transferred to replace the parent.
