### sec.855 No action for defamation in certain cases
A civil proceeding for defamation does not lie against any of the following entities for printing or publishing a document for an amalgamation ballot or withdrawal ballot—
the State;
the electoral commission;
an electoral officer;
another person who may, under this chapter, conduct the ballot;
a person asked to act for, or at the direction of, an entity mentioned in paragraphs (a) to (d) .
