### sec.829 Certain acts by person purporting to act in an office
This section applies if—
a person was apparently elected to an office for an organisation in an election; and
the person has purported to act in the office since the election; and
the commission declares the person’s election void.
The person’s acts while purporting to act in the office for the organisation that could have been validly done if the person were properly elected are valid.
(sec.829-ssec.1) This section applies if— a person was apparently elected to an office for an organisation in an election; and the person has purported to act in the office since the election; and the commission declares the person’s election void.
(sec.829-ssec.2) The person’s acts while purporting to act in the office for the organisation that could have been validly done if the person were properly elected are valid.
- (a) a person was apparently elected to an office for an organisation in an election; and
- (b) the person has purported to act in the office since the election; and
- (c) the commission declares the person’s election void.
