### sec.819 Ballot records must be kept Each of the following persons must take reasonable steps to ensure all ballot records given to the person for the election are kept for 1 year after the declaration of the result of the election— the returning officer for the election; the organisation or branch of the organisation for which the election is held; an officer of the organisation or branch of the organisation who performs a function for ballot records for the election. Maximum penalty—100 penalty units. - (a) the returning officer for the election; - (b) the organisation or branch of the organisation for which the election is held; - (c) an officer of the organisation or branch of the organisation who performs a function for ballot records for the election.
