### sec.795 Registrar’s investigations The registrar must investigate an organisation’s finances or financial administration— if an audit report for the organisation states— there was an accounting deficiency in the organisation’s accounts; or another matter the registrar considers should be investigated; or if asked by the required number of members of the organisation; or if required to under section 793 (2) . The registrar may also conduct an investigation— if satisfied there are reasonable grounds to conduct an investigation; or in another circumstance prescribed by regulation.
