### sec.550 Rules committee
The president must establish a rules committee consisting of the following members—
the president;
the vice-president;
each deputy president.
The president is the chairperson of the rules committee.
The functions of the rules committee include—
developing and reviewing the rules under this Act; and
approving forms under section 989 ; and
any other function conferred on the rules committee under this Act.
The rules committee may conduct its business and proceedings at meetings in the way it decides.
However—
the chairperson has a deliberative vote and, in the event of an equality of votes, a casting vote; and
the rules committee must consult with—
for a rule relating to the Industrial Magistrates Court—the Chief Magistrate; or
for a rule relating to the registry—the registrar.

- (a) the president;
