### sec.487 Referring question of law to court
The commission may, at any stage of proceedings and on the terms it considers appropriate, refer in writing a question of law relevant to the proceedings for the court’s opinion.
The court may—
hear and decide the question of law; and
remit the question of law, with its opinion, to the commission.
The commission must give effect to the court’s opinion.
(sec.487-ssec.1) The commission may, at any stage of proceedings and on the terms it considers appropriate, refer in writing a question of law relevant to the proceedings for the court’s opinion.
(sec.487-ssec.2) The court may— hear and decide the question of law; and remit the question of law, with its opinion, to the commission.
(sec.487-ssec.3) The commission must give effect to the court’s opinion.
- (a) hear and decide the question of law; and
- (b) remit the question of law, with its opinion, to the commission.
