### sec.456 Commission may stay or dismiss applications in certain circumstances
The commission may stay or dismiss an application or complaint if the act or omission the subject of the application or complaint is being, or has been, dealt with by the commission in another proceeding.
This section applies despite a provision of this Act or another Act that requires the commission to deal with the application or complaint.
A time limit for doing anything under this Act or another Act in relation to the application or complaint does not run while the application or complaint is stayed.
(sec.456-ssec.1) The commission may stay or dismiss an application or complaint if the act or omission the subject of the application or complaint is being, or has been, dealt with by the commission in another proceeding.
(sec.456-ssec.2) This section applies despite a provision of this Act or another Act that requires the commission to deal with the application or complaint.
(sec.456-ssec.3) A time limit for doing anything under this Act or another Act in relation to the application or complaint does not run while the application or complaint is stayed.
