### sec.21 Meaning of Queensland Employment Standards
This part provides for minimum standards of employment of employees that apply to employees and which can not be displaced except under this chapter.
The minimum standards relate to the following matters—
minimum wage— division 2 ;
maximum weekly hours— division 3 ;
a right to request flexible working arrangements— division 4 ;
annual leave— division 5 ;
personal leave, including sick leave, carer’s leave, bereavement leave, compassionate leave and cultural leave— division 6 ;
domestic and family violence leave— division 7 ;
parental leave— division 8 ;
long service leave— division 9 ;
public holidays— division 10 ;
emergency service leave— division 11 ;
jury service leave— division 12 ;
notice of termination and redundancy pay— division 13 ;
superannuation contributions— division 13A ;
information statements— division 14 .
