### sec.159 Formal requirements of relevant instruments
A relevant instrument must—
be in writing; and
be signed by the member of the commission making the instrument; and
state the day on which it is signed.
Also, a modern award must—
have a unique title; and
have a table of contents; and
be expressed in plain English and be easy to understand in structure and content.
