### sec.104 Taking long service leave—casual or regular part-time employees
This section applies to a casual employee or regular part-time employee.
The employer may agree with the employee that the employee’s entitlement to long service leave may be taken in the form of its full-time equivalent.
An employee—
is entitled to be paid for 247 hours long service leave; and
works under an award that provides for a full-time working week of 38 ordinary working hours.
The employee and the employer may agree that the employee take 61/2 weeks leave (247 ÷ 38 = 61/2).
(sec.104-ssec.1) This section applies to a casual employee or regular part-time employee.
(sec.104-ssec.2) The employer may agree with the employee that the employee’s entitlement to long service leave may be taken in the form of its full-time equivalent. An employee— is entitled to be paid for 247 hours long service leave; and works under an award that provides for a full-time working week of 38 ordinary working hours. The employee and the employer may agree that the employee take 61/2 weeks leave (247 ÷ 38 = 61/2).
- (a) is entitled to be paid for 247 hours long service leave; and
- (b) works under an award that provides for a full-time working week of 38 ordinary working hours.
