### sec.81A Registrar may require attendance
The registrar may, by notice given to a registered provider, require the provider to ensure that a suitably qualified officer of the provider attends a meeting with the registrar to provide oral information about the provider’s affairs, on the day and in the place stated in the notice.
A person required by a notice mentioned in subsection (1) to attend a meeting must not, without reasonable excuse—
fail to attend as required by the notice; or
fail to continue to attend the meeting as required by the registrar until excused from further attendance by the registrar.
A failure to comply with this section is not an offence but may be a ground for the registrar to give a registered provider a notice of noncompliance.
