### sec.317 When chief executive may decide service agreement
This section applies if the chief executive considers that there is not a reasonable time to negotiate and enter into the first service agreement with a Service.
The chief executive may decide the terms of the service agreement and give the chair of the Service’s board a copy of the agreement.
The term of the service agreement must not be longer than 1 year.
The service agreement is taken to have been entered into under section 35.

(sec.317-ssec.1) This section applies if the chief executive considers that there is not a reasonable time to negotiate and enter into the first service agreement with a Service.
(sec.317-ssec.2) The chief executive may decide the terms of the service agreement and give the chair of the Service’s board a copy of the agreement.
