### sec.30 Delegation by boards
The board for a Hospital and Health Service may delegate any of the Service’s functions under this Act or the Financial Accountability Act 2009 —
to a committee of the board if all of the members of the committee are board members; or
to the executive committee established by the board; or
to the health service chief executive.
The health service chief executive, with the written approval of the board, may subdelegate a function mentioned in subsection (1) to an appropriately qualified—
employee of the Hospital and Health Service; or
health service employee employed in the department and working for the Service.
In this section—
appropriately qualified includes having the qualifications, experience or standing appropriate to the exercise of the power.
