### sec.147 Disclosure to lessen or prevent serious risk to life, health or safety
A designated person or prescribed health professional may disclose confidential information if—
the relevant chief executive believes, on reasonable grounds, the disclosure is necessary to assist in lessening or preventing a serious risk to—
the life, health or safety of a person, including the person to whom the confidential information relates; or
public safety; and
the relevant chief executive has, in writing, authorised the disclosure.

- (a) the relevant chief executive believes, on reasonable grounds, the disclosure is necessary to assist in lessening or preventing a serious risk to— (i) the life, health or safety of a person, including the person to whom the confidential information relates; or (ii) public safety; and
- (i) the life, health or safety of a person, including the person to whom the confidential information relates; or
- (ii) public safety; and
- (b) the relevant chief executive has, in writing, authorised the disclosure.
