### sec.142 Confidential information must not be disclosed by designated persons
A designated person must not disclose, directly or indirectly, confidential information to another person unless the disclosure is required or permitted under this Act.
Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
For subsection (1) , another person includes another designated person or a prescribed health professional.
Subsection (1) applies even if the person who could be identified from the disclosure of confidential information is deceased.
