### sec.135 Reports by clinical reviewers other than to provide advice to investigator
This section does not apply to a clinical review undertaken to provide clinical advice to a health service investigator.
A clinical reviewer must prepare and provide a report to the appointer for each clinical review.
The report may include recommendations on ways in which the safety and quality of public sector health services can be maintained and improved.
Subsection (5) applies to a report provided to the chief executive after a clinical review in a Service.
After considering the report, the chief executive may issue a direction to the Service.
The Service must comply with the direction.
Subsection (8) applies if—
a report is provided to the chief executive after a clinical review in the department or a Service; or
a copy of a report is given to the chief executive under section 137 after a clinical review in a Service; or
a report is provided to a health service chief executive after a clinical review in the Service.
After considering the report, the chief executive or health service chief executive may take the action he or she considers appropriate in relation to the matters identified in the report.

- (c) a report is provided to a health service chief executive after a clinical review in the Service.
