### sec.696 Application of particular Queensland Acts to this Law
The following Acts, as in force from time to time, apply for the purposes of this Law—
the Information Privacy Act 2009 of Queensland;
the Public Records Act 2002 of Queensland;
the Right to Information Act 2009 of Queensland.
However, the Act s mentioned in subsection (1) do not apply for the purposes of this Law to the extent that—
functions under this Law are being exercised by a State or Territory entity; or
without limiting paragraph (a) , functions are being exercised by a State or Territory entity under an agreement mentioned in section 658 (2) (a) or under a delegation under this Law.
The national regulations may modify an Act mentioned in subsection (1) for the purposes of this Law.
Without limiting subsection (3) , the national regulations may—
provide that the Act applies as if a provision of the Act specified in the regulations were omitted; or
provide that the Act applies as if an amendment to the Act made by a law of Queensland, and specified in the regulations, had not taken effect; or
confer a function on a State or Territory entity; or
confer jurisdiction on a tribunal or court of a participating jurisdiction.
An Act mentioned in subsection (1) applies for the purposes of this Law as if the Minister responsible for a government agency were the responsible Ministers in relation to a body established by this Law.
Subsection (5) applies to an Act mentioned in subsection (1) with the modifications (if any) mentioned in subsection (3) , but does not apply in relation to any provisions of that Act specified in the national regulations for the purposes of this subsection.
In this section—
State or Territory entity does not include the Regulator.

- (c) the Right to Information Act 2009 of Queensland.
- (a) functions under this Law are being exercised by a State or Territory entity; or

- (a) provide that the Act applies as if a provision of the Act specified in the regulations were omitted; or
- (b) provide that the Act applies as if an amendment to the Act made by a law of Queensland, and specified in the regulations, had not taken effect; or
- (c) confer a function on a State or Territory entity; or
- (d) confer jurisdiction on a tribunal or court of a participating jurisdiction.
