### sec.591 Infringement notices
An authorised officer who reasonably believes that a person has committed a prescribed offence against this Law may serve the person with an infringement notice issued as an alternative to prosecution in court for the offence.
The procedures to be followed in connection with infringement notices issued for the purposes of this Law as applied in this jurisdiction are to be the procedures prescribed by or under the Infringement Notice Offences Law of this jurisdiction.
In this section—
prescribed offence means an offence prescribed by a law of this jurisdiction for the purposes of this section.
(sec.591-ssec.1) An authorised officer who reasonably believes that a person has committed a prescribed offence against this Law may serve the person with an infringement notice issued as an alternative to prosecution in court for the offence.
(sec.591-ssec.2) The procedures to be followed in connection with infringement notices issued for the purposes of this Law as applied in this jurisdiction are to be the procedures prescribed by or under the Infringement Notice Offences Law of this jurisdiction.
(sec.591-ssec.3) In this section— prescribed offence means an offence prescribed by a law of this jurisdiction for the purposes of this section.
