### sec.584 Obstructing authorised officer
A person must not obstruct—
an authorised officer, or someone helping an authorised officer, exercising a power under this Law; or
an assistant mentioned in section 518 , 519 or 523 exercising a power under that section.
Maximum penalty—$10000.
In this section—
obstruct includes assault, hinder, resist, attempt to obstruct and threaten to obstruct.
