### sec.575 Revocation of an improvement notice
An improvement notice given to a person by an authorised officer who is a police officer may be revoked, by giving notice of the revocation to the person, by—
the relevant police commissioner; or
an authorised officer who—
is a police officer; and
has the relevant police commissioner’s written authority to issue improvement notices under this Division; and
is more senior in rank to the police officer who gave the notice to the person.
An improvement notice given to a person by an authorised officer who is not a police officer may be revoked by the Regulator by giving notice of the revocation to the person.
Section 23 of Schedule 1 does not apply in relation to the revocation of the improvement notice.
(sec.575-ssec.1) An improvement notice given to a person by an authorised officer who is a police officer may be revoked, by giving notice of the revocation to the person, by— the relevant police commissioner; or an authorised officer who— is a police officer; and has the relevant police commissioner’s written authority to issue improvement notices under this Division; and is more senior in rank to the police officer who gave the notice to the person.
(sec.575-ssec.2) An improvement notice given to a person by an authorised officer who is not a police officer may be revoked by the Regulator by giving notice of the revocation to the person.
(sec.575-ssec.3) Section 23 of Schedule 1 does not apply in relation to the revocation of the improvement notice.
- (a) the relevant police commissioner; or
- (b) an authorised officer who— (i) is a police officer; and (ii) has the relevant police commissioner’s written authority to issue improvement notices under this Division; and (iii) is more senior in rank to the police officer who gave the notice to the person.
- (i) is a police officer; and
- (ii) has the relevant police commissioner’s written authority to issue improvement notices under this Division; and
- (iii) is more senior in rank to the police officer who gave the notice to the person.
- (i) is a police officer; and
- (ii) has the relevant police commissioner’s written authority to issue improvement notices under this Division; and
- (iii) is more senior in rank to the police officer who gave the notice to the person.
