### sec.42E Amendment of s 707A (Proceeding for other offences)
National Law, section 707A —
insert—
A complaint for a fatigue management offence may be heard at a place appointed for holding Magistrates Courts within the district within which the defendant was required to produce the defendant’s work diary under section 568.
This subsection is an additional Queensland provision.
Subsection (4) has effect despite, but does not limit, the Justices Act 1886 , section 139 .
This subsection is an additional Queensland provision.
In this section—
fatigue management offence means an offence against any of the following provisions—
section 250;
section 251;
section 254;
section 256;
section 258;
part 6.4.
This subsection is an additional Queensland provision.

(sec.42E-frag-ssec.4) A complaint for a fatigue management offence may be heard at a place appointed for holding Magistrates Courts within the district within which the defendant was required to produce the defendant’s work diary under section 568.
