### sec.384 Application for fatigue record keeping exemption (permit)
The record keeper for a driver of a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle may apply to the Regulator for a fatigue record keeping exemption (permit).
The application must—
be in the approved form; and
state the following—
the period for which the exemption is sought;
any conditions for the exemption sought by the applicant;
the name and details of each driver of a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle to whom the exemption sought is to apply;
any other details prescribed by the national regulations; and
be accompanied by the prescribed fee for the application.
The Regulator may, by notice given to the applicant, require the applicant to give the Regulator any additional information the Regulator reasonably requires to decide the application.
In deciding whether or not to grant a fatigue record keeping exemption (permit), the Regulator must comply with any requirements prescribed by the national regulations for the purposes of this subsection and have regard to the approved guidelines for granting fatigue record keeping exemptions.

(sec.384-ssec.1) The record keeper for a driver of a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle may apply to the Regulator for a fatigue record keeping exemption (permit).
(sec.384-ssec.2) The application must— be in the approved form; and state the following— the period for which the exemption is sought; any conditions for the exemption sought by the applicant; the name and details of each driver of a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle to whom the exemption sought is to apply; any other details prescribed by the national regulations; and be accompanied by the prescribed fee for the application.

- (ii) any conditions for the exemption sought by the applicant;
- (iii) the name and details of each driver of a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle to whom the exemption sought is to apply;
- (iv) any other details prescribed by the national regulations; and
- (c) be accompanied by the prescribed fee for the application.
- (i) the period for which the exemption is sought;
- (ii) any conditions for the exemption sought by the applicant;
- (iii) the name and details of each driver of a fatigue-regulated heavy vehicle to whom the exemption sought is to apply;
- (iv) any other details prescribed by the national regulations; and
