### sec.170 Renewal of limited consent for trial purposes
The Regulator must notify each relevant road manager that gave consent under section 169 that the mass or dimension authority concerned will be renewed with effect from the end of the current period of its duration unless action is taken under this section.
The notification must be given at least one month before the end of the current trial period.
The Regulator must renew the mass or dimension authority for a further trial period of no more than 3 months, unless the Regulator receives a written objection to its renewal from a relevant road manager within the current trial period.
The mass or dimension authority is renewable for one or more further trial periods.
