### sec.95 Endorsement as nurse practitioner
The National Board for the nursing profession may endorse the registration of a registered health practitioner whose name is included in the Register of Nurses as being qualified to practise as a nurse practitioner if the practitioner—
holds either of the following qualifications relevant to the endorsement—
an approved qualification;
another qualification that, in the Board’s opinion, is substantially equivalent to, or based on similar competencies to, an approved qualification; and
complies with any approved registration standard relevant to the endorsement.
An endorsement under subsection (1) must state—
that the registered health practitioner is entitled to use the title “nurse practitioner”; and
any conditions applicable to the practice by the registered health practitioner as a nurse practitioner.

(sec.95-ssec.1) The National Board for the nursing profession may endorse the registration of a registered health practitioner whose name is included in the Register of Nurses as being qualified to practise as a nurse practitioner if the practitioner— holds either of the following qualifications relevant to the endorsement— an approved qualification; another qualification that, in the Board’s opinion, is substantially equivalent to, or based on similar competencies to, an approved qualification; and complies with any approved registration standard relevant to the endorsement.
(sec.95-ssec.2) An endorsement under subsection (1) must state— that the registered health practitioner is entitled to use the title “nurse practitioner”; and any conditions applicable to the practice by the registered health practitioner as a nurse practitioner.
- (a) holds either of the following qualifications relevant to the endorsement— (i) an approved qualification; (ii) another qualification that, in the Board’s opinion, is substantially equivalent to, or based on similar competencies to, an approved qualification; and
- (i) an approved qualification;
- (ii) another qualification that, in the Board’s opinion, is substantially equivalent to, or based on similar competencies to, an approved qualification; and
- (b) complies with any approved registration standard relevant to the endorsement.
