### sec.80 When authorised officer ceases to hold office
An authorised officer ceases to hold office if any of the following happens—
the term of office stated in a condition of office ends;
under another condition of office, the authorised officer ceases to hold office;
the authorised officer’s resignation under section 81 takes effect.
Subsection (1) does not limit the ways an authorised officer may cease to hold office.
In this section—
condition of office means a condition on which the authorised officer holds office.
(sec.80-ssec.1) An authorised officer ceases to hold office if any of the following happens— the term of office stated in a condition of office ends; under another condition of office, the authorised officer ceases to hold office; the authorised officer’s resignation under section 81 takes effect.
(sec.80-ssec.2) Subsection (1) does not limit the ways an authorised officer may cease to hold office.
(sec.80-ssec.3) In this section— condition of office means a condition on which the authorised officer holds office.
- (a) the term of office stated in a condition of office ends;
- (b) under another condition of office, the authorised officer ceases to hold office;
- (c) the authorised officer’s resignation under section 81 takes effect.
