### sec.124 Applications to chief executive for handler’s identity card
This section applies to an application for a handler’s identity card made under the unamended Act, section 41 but not decided before the commencement.
The application must be dealt with under the unamended Act.
Despite subsection (2), the day of expiry for a handler’s identity card issued on the application must not be more than 3 years after the day the card is issued.
In this section—
unamended Act means this Act as in force before the commencement.

(sec.124-ssec.1) This section applies to an application for a handler’s identity card made under the unamended Act, section 41 but not decided before the commencement.
(sec.124-ssec.2) The application must be dealt with under the unamended Act.
(sec.124-ssec.3) Despite subsection (2), the day of expiry for a handler’s identity card issued on the application must not be more than 3 years after the day the card is issued.
(sec.124-ssec.4) In this section— unamended Act means this Act as in force before the commencement.
