### sec.61 Purpose to achieve balance for health care
This chapter seeks to strike a balance between—
ensuring an adult is not deprived of necessary health care only because the adult has impaired capacity for a health matter or special health matter; and
ensuring health care is given to the adult only if it is appropriate in all the circumstances.
