### sec.262E Person given notice of hearing able to become active party
This section applies if before the commencement of this section (the commencement )—
a person is given a notice under section 118 as in force immediately before the commencement; and
the person had not, under section 120 as in force immediately before the commencement (the repealed section ), given the tribunal a notice as permitted under the repealed section.
After the commencement—
the repealed section continues to apply in relation to the person as if it had not been repealed; and
if the person gives the tribunal a notice as permitted under the repealed section, the person is taken to be an active party in the proceeding.
