### sec.24 Protection if unaware of appointment An attorney who, without knowing power has been given by the tribunal to a guardian or administrator, purports to exercise the power does not incur any liability, either to the adult or anyone else, because of the appointment of the guardian or administrator. A transaction between— an attorney who purports to exercise power for a matter; and a person who does not know power for the matter has been given to a guardian or administrator; is, in favour of the person, as valid as if the power had not been given to the guardian or administrator.
