### sec.216 Terms of appointment
The Governor in Council may decide the remuneration and allowances payable to the public advocate.
The public advocate is to be paid the remuneration and allowances decided by the Governor in Council.
To the extent this Act does not state the terms on which the public advocate holds office, the public advocate holds office on the terms decided by the Governor in Council.
(sec.216-ssec.1) The Governor in Council may decide the remuneration and allowances payable to the public advocate.
